Programmes Experience
A little bit about us
The Experience team creates everything students see within Springpod's Virtual Work Experience Programmes and Courses. Of course, with a bit of help from our other teammates.
From programmes with the NHS to Meta, we work with a range of employer partners to deliver informative, fun and engaging programmes bursting with written, interactive and video content.
If you like the sound of working with various creative content formats that positively impact young people, we might be the team for you. If you need any more convincing, we’re a super-friendly bunch!

As Senior Project Manager - Subject Spotlights here at Springpod (and mother hen to our ever-expanding Springpod Studios team), I provide the 'people' touch whenever called upon. I love to help and motivate others - it's what motivates me!
I'm married to an absolute legend called Andrew, and we have an awesome little girl called Eleanor Rainbow (she is two and seriously cool).
In my previous life, I lived in the Middle East for almost a decade, where I became the world’s first flying butler for Etihad Airways! In my spare time - I usually sleep! Ha ha! I also am an avid foodie and music lover!

I’m Dan, a Senior Content Producer and the Liverpool Office Manager. I've got a few different roles within the team - in other words, jack-of-all-trades, master of…some.
Typically, I make sure that our fabulous Programmes Experience team have got what they need to ensure that our content is as informative, engaging, and accessible as can be. I work with many NHS clients, so I'm a handy alternative to the NHS careers site.
I'm a classic Libra, and love music, coffee, and food Before Springpod, I worked in a number of jobs and studied English Literature at uni. I also won the award for best dissertation in the School of Arts - humble brag.

I am the HE Content Lead here at Springpod, working alongside the production and post-production teams to deliver our famed Subject Spotlights. I enjoy working on programmes that help young people make informed choices about their university careers and beyond.
I taught English Literature for over 12 years at the college and university levels in the UK, China and Spain, and have been to 52 countries - and counting! I’m also a musician, writer and radio presenter - so some may say a jack of all trades!
Around the office, I am also known as a massive BigFoot enthusiast and an avid Evertonian!

Zoe Bracegirdle
I'm Zoe, and I'm a Content Producer in Springpod's wonderfully talented Programmes Experience team, where I’m responsible for creating a selection of our employer Virtual Work Experience programmes.
I love working at Springpod because I'm truly passionate about levelling the playing field for every young person and removing the barriers that all too often accompany traditional work experience.
I graduated from the University of Manchester with a first-class degree in English Literature, which was a huge personal achievement for me since my final year went virtual! On a non-work-related note, I’m a huge fan of cooking, coffee and all things Christmas.

Alex Carr
Hey there - I'm Alex, one of the Content Producers for HE. It's been a fantastic experience, using my creative skill set to make a difference in students' experience with University and the wider working world.
Working collaboratively has provided a great creative outlet, with the social element of the role being a breath of fresh air from past experiences. There is a level of trust, respect, and admiration throughout the company that makes Springpod a welcoming place to work.
Outside of Springpod, I’ve directed several award-winning short films and have worked for Netflix on the series The Irregulars. My most recent work was an 80s-style production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night which ran for one sold-out week at Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre!

Zoe Downey
I'm a Content Producer for the Higher Education (HE) side of Springpod, working on products to get students thinking (and excited!) about starting their university journey.
Our work on Subject Spotlights gives students an insight into what studying a particular subject is really like. As well as this, I lead the content for University Showcases, making researching uni options more manageable and engaging.
Outside of Springpod, I love to be outdoors as much as possible and travel, cook, hike, run and read. I've also had a lifelong hobby of watching, performing and directing theatre, and being based in Liverpool is a great place to pursue that!
